The "MACC" Fund is a non-profit organization in Eastern Wisconsin that raises money to support childhood cancer and related blood disorder research.
Cancer is the leading disease-related cause of death after the newborn period. The overall curerate in childhood cancer has risen from 20 percent to 80 percent in thirty years.
The primary beneficiary of MACC Fund support is the Midwest Children's Cancer Center with research conducted in the MACC Fund Research Center of the Medical College of Wisconsin. Additional funding is provided to the Paul P. Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
